Hurley Library

The Hurley Library will hold its annual trustee election and budget approval vote on Thursday, October 20, 2022 between the hours of 4 pm and 7 pm.  Voting will take place at the Hurley Library, 48 MAIN Street, in Hurley.  Absentee ballots are available at the library.

All registered voters in the Hurley districts 2,4,6 and 8 are eligible to vote.

Two candidates, Heather Blakely and Mary Curcio are running for election for two seats to a four-year term.

A tax levy of $223,800 is up for approval. This represents an increase of 10% to cover increased insurance and utility expenses as well as minimum wage increases.  This increase will amount to an estimated increase of $12.49 per year based on a home assessed at $200,000.
